Ford to unveil new B-MAX at Geneva Motor Show

ABR Staff Writer Published 02 February 2012

US automaker Ford Motor will unveil the new production ready B-MAX compact MPV at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.

Ford's new B-MAX model is powered by a three cylinder 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine and is also available in Duratorq TDCi diesel version.

Ford Europe chairman and CEO Stephen Odell said the B-MAX combines an exciting, innovative design with features that only previously have been found in bigger cars.

"It's a brand new car that responds to the needs of an increasing number of customers who want much more from their small cars."

B-MAX comes with a new approach to door construction with its center pillars integrated into the doors themselves allowing a wide-open access for drivers, passengers and luggage.

The concept model of B-MAX was rolled out at Geneva Motor Show in 2011 while it will go on sale in Europe later this year.
